Soundproof paint

Post by ahap »

Does anyone know where I could get Soundproof paint please. Called B&Q, they don't stock it. Wickes lady has never heard of it. Any recommendations?

 I googled and there is a site which has them but if anyone knows of other places then please let me know. The cost of it will be less than buying soundproof panel/platerboard & the other stuff for walls. I need some sort of noise level reduction from one room to the other. The paint won't be as effective as the other stuff I'm told but a little bit of reduction would be okay.

Try Brewers? They will also probably know if it actually works (went there to buy magnetic paint, but didn't after they told me it didn't work!)

I like Brewers too, our local one is a nice shop with sensible assistants who actually look old enough to wield a paint brush.

I used magnetic paint, it worked with lightweight sheet magnets.
