Are you allowed to write on the exam papers when working out

Does anyone know if you can write on the exam papers for Sale and Stretford Grammars to do workings out?

Hello,

When i emailed sale grammar regarding this, what they said was to write any working in the question paper itself, and they do not provide any working paper.
