sale grammar but live in stretford

Hi just wondering if we have a chance of getting into Sale Grammar. We live in stretford 5 mins drive and we are in sale. DD has set her heart on there, obviously assuming she passes

SGS has been undersubcribed in previous years, you shoudn't have a problem living in Stretford although check the admissions criteria on their website, I seem to remember M33, WA14 & WA15 having priority

thanks. Does anyone know if we move into sale after the october closing date would our current or new address be considered

If it is anything like AGGS then it is your current address.
New address would be considered from April onwards (2nd round/waiting list etc)

I think you stand a good chance if you live in Stretford. My child is in y8 and many of the children in the form travel from Stockport ; the furthest away is Hazel Grove.
