Does any one have idea how many students attended Reading boys school and Slough?

I asked the head on exam day and he said he was expecting about 700, not sure how many turned up but it sure looked busy.

Checked with school today 700 students gave the exam. Also heard that the boarders test today had close to 40-50 students.

My DS sat the boarders exam today. I was told that 40 sat for that exam, and that of 750 applicants for day places 690-700 sat on Tuesday.

My DS really enjoyed his stay at the boarding house and is now more keen than before,(if that's possible) to attend.

The wait seems unbearable

Cant sleep properly thinking if he is in the top 20 ...

DS says he has done well but everyday the percentage keeps changing..

Does anyone know for Boarding do they tell u the raw scores or just if he is eligible to apply for a place.

I understand from speaking to the school that we should receive the cut off score and then the score achieved, although the person I spoke to was not prepared to absolutely guarantee the way in which the information will be provided. I was told that we would receive sufficient information to allow us to make an informed decision as to whether to place the school on the CAF.

The wait is excruciating, but not too long to go now.
