Transport from Swindon/Cricklade/Cirencester to Crypt

Hi. I am new here. My son has qualified for Marling and Crypt and missed STR by 2 marks (Marling 237, Crypt, 114, STR 108, Not Pates). He would like Crypt, although we are more than happy with Marling and that is where he sat the test. Currently, however, there does not seem to be transport from this direction to Crypt. Is anybody else in this position? Does anybody know a parent in another year who is from our geographical area with whom I could discuss transport? Thanks and good luck to all.

there is definitely a minibus that goes form swindon to Gloucester. it may be parent run (don't know any more details, sorry) and I am pretty sure there is a bus form Cirencester

The other alternative is the train. It is very easy Swindon, Kemble, Stroud, Gloucester. Most of the Marling/SHS kids from swindon go on the train. But I don't know how far it is from station to Crypt.

Thanks. I will keep my fingers crossed that somebody will have more information and can put me in touch with the parents (?) organising those buses.

Have you contacted the school? They are normally very helpful about transport

Hi,

My Son got a place in Crypt school to join in Sept 2014. I live in swindon. Please let me know if there is any transport arrangement and place exists. I am also interested to explore other options.
