What to put as first choice
My daughter passed the exam for Upton school and the 11 plus. We both prefer Upton hall school, but she is not christened catholic or actually christened at all. Does she have a chance of getting a place there or should we just go for West Kirby grammar?

My daughter has passed the examination, is she guaranteed a place?
When a child passes the examination she becomes eligible for a place in the school. There are 140 places available. Over the last few years, since the admission number became 140, a place has been available to all the girls who wanted to come to Upton.
My daughter has passed the Upton Hall Examination. She is not a baptised Catholic will she get in?
In past years all girls who passed the examination and had placed the school first preference were offered a place. This includes those who are Catholic and those who are not.
