The Tutors VR Multiple choice paper 2
Not sure if this is an error. Just had a heated debate with partner on this one (sad though we are!)
"Mr. Edwards, Mr Peace and Mr Gearing work in the city.
Mr Edwards leaves for work at 8:30, fifteen minutes after Mr Peace. It takes Mr. Peace fifty-five minutes to get to work, ten minutes less than Mr. Gearing who leaves home at 8:00. Mr. Edwards arrives for work at 9:05.
What time does Mr Gearing arrive? "
Now when I first looked at this I thought the answer was 8:45 which corresponds with that given as the correct answer on the answer sheet but I can now see after the said discussion that if "it takes Mr. Peace fifty-five minutes to get to work, TEN MINUTES LESS than Mr. Gearing" then Mr Gearings journey took 65 minutes which would make the answer 9:05.
Is that right?
It's late and I should be dropping off with some light reading! Such is life.

Dear NotionPotion
9.05 is correct.
Are you looking at an e paper or a published booklet containg 4 papers?
If its an e paper, how old is it? This question was amended a long time ago.
If its the booklet, I think, if I remember correctly, there should be a slip of paper enclosed making note of any errors.
