Ethics
On some threads of this forum, there are from time to time some conversations about racial mix in schools in Britain… some white British parents being worried of choosing a school with ‘too many’ ethnic minorities.
Though not about schools nor about the UK , I found this article commemorating an action done by a brave girl less than 20 years ago in the US very uplifting…

A matter of doing what is ethically right.
I have a dream… I have a dream….. I have a dream of a world where people would be colour blind!... or without prejudice!

From that article:
"The biggest thing you can do is just be kind to another human being. It can come down to eye contact, or a smile. It doesn't have to be a huge monumental act."
If only we all lived like that.

My understanding of the current discussion on the Kent forum was that people were actively choosing the more diverse school.

It's one of the reasons I like Burnham Grammar in Bucks, although I sometimes suspect that it may be one of the reasons it is less popular in some communities that could send their children there.
