Are lattices and analogies the same as matrices ?

Does anyone know if these mean the same :?: I've tried searching it on the forum with no avail :(

lattices might be the same as matrices just going by the similarities in meaning. Analogies are different - you have a shape with an arrow to show how it has changed and use that as a rule to change the question shape

Thanks leanmeamum my Ds has been doing these anyway but was just curious as its been mentioned on the forum that the exams tend to have lattices in so just wanted to cover them with my Ds :)

Yes, I would like to know what people mean by lattices. Is it a g l type?

In Brum the CEM exams have featured something referred to as lattices. From the description, they are just like matrices but not the neat square grids - they are connected hexagons with blanks. Same principle though.
