CSSE 2014 Exam
Familiarisation papers should be on the CSSE website in the next few days, just called their office. They are currently being signed off by one of the Consortium school's headteachers!

Oooh, I was wondering about that. The CSSE website states that they will be on there by January, so I'd thought that would be by the start of January, but clearly not 
I will be really interested to see the format. The English paper used to be 35 minutes. If it's now an hour, but they have to include two bits of creative writing plus some applied/verbal reasoning-there can't be much of either? What do we reckon? 15 minutes to do 2 bits of writing and 10 minutes to do 20 VR questions?
The maths used to be 40 minutes but will now be an hour and include maths/NVR. That makes more sense; it leaves 20 minutes for those questions.
I think it would be better to have two essay titles and you choose just one...
