Recommendation for an educational phychiatrist please

Hi I'm looking for someone to take my DS to over his issues with essays/written work (inability to order thoughts logically on paper) and also to get him assessed generally to talk to school about his ability as I think he is far brighter than they do and is not achieving his potential.

So any recommendations - we are in north Kent, but would travel a reasonable distance.

The British psychological society has a find a psychologist function. You need to look at a psychologist that is classified as an educational psychologist and ask for an assessment of ability and maybe attainment.

See what they suggest about investigating the essay writing but you might be better off paying for a good tutor.
