North Kent girls Grammar near to a train station?

Post by emmajane1 »

Hi We are in Medway but wondered if anyone could adviseif grammar schools in Gravesend on Maidstone are close to the train station?

Just want to know what options are witinn reach really

thanks

This is for VI form so I don't know if distance will be less of a criteria but none of the Medway schools offer a level latin and a level French which my dd loves at GCSE so we are wondering about looking at a wider field.

thanks

Mayfield Grammar School for Girls,
Pelham Road, Gravesend, Kent
DA11 0JE

This Grammar School is only a 15 minute walk from Gravesend Railway station.
I hope this helps you.

Maidstone has three stations. Which one are you considering?

With Maidstone I guess it would probably be walking distance of the chequers for the 101 bus from Medway needed. It is probably simpler to stay within medway but thanks anyway

All the Maidstone Grammars are pretty close to a station - Maidstone isn't that big! Don't rule them out if they offer what she is interested in.

Mayfield Grammar in Gravesend is about 5 mins from the station at a brisk walk.
