Hi has anyone heard yet from admissions?
Just wondering as a parent outside of county has been notified via post this morning.

Just to let all you anxious parents know. DS offered place at STR with score of 213.
Hope this helps.

Just in case this is useful to anyone - I can advise that the Pates offers on their waiting list has gone to at least 139.

At the risk of starting a riot, it's really not right that OOC should get their results before those in county...

That was my concern in my earlier thread, that GCC had changed their date to 3rd March - it still does say 1st March on your original submission which you can view on the admissions website. Its absolutely not right that some applicants find out earlier, its meant to be "National" Allocations Day - perhaps that should be amended to "except for Gloucestershire!"

It's totally unfair that some ooc parents already know they have places at our schools and us in county are still left very anxious! As a mum of twins one of whom has passed for grammar (no guarantees on place obviously) and one who missed by just one mark it is an anxious enough time! Play fair gcc!!

Totally agree it is unfair that OOC applicants have received notification from GCC today via post - albeit a in letter dated 1st march - and received 1st march?! Presumably to cover their backs in the event of a riot?!?!

I am not able to comment on the results of the above mentioned as its not my place to comment on another persons situation so sorry no results and no scores but when I get my DS allocation I will happily share result and preferences!

I am concerned that the results of the admissions or preferences to use correct terminology; are not all released on the same day.
This means that all OOC are at a two day advantage if they need to and wish to appeal.

Agree GCC not treating people with parity here and will be putting in a formal complaint regarding this matter.
If anyone has any advice on this - it would be very welcome!
Roll on Monday !
