Do northants residents need to accept offer for RHS?

Hi there. We northants residents and my daughter has been offered a place at RHS. I called northants admissions and they said I didn't need to accept. Doing nothing was equivalent to acceptance. This seems to be different to the Warwickshire residents etc who are contacting their lea to accept offers. Is this correct?

Hi, I rang Warwickshire this morning to clarify and she marked on my dd's record that we would be accepting.

I know we don't have to confirm under Northants, but didn't want there to be any crossed wires and somehow lose our place!!
