Does anyone know if this site has recorded historically, how many indie children take the test, get offered a place but don't take it up??

there are no actual records but there are a lot of kids who take indie exams and get offered places (often more than one) and then either take none of them and go to a state school (being used as a back up) or pick one and reject the others you can only to one school after all).

Many indies over-offer substantially to account for this as they know it happens.

It would be great to know if any posters have a place offered to them at one of the grammars but don't plan on taking it because they choose indie instead.
