Carry on with 10-11+ books or time to do the papers?

Post by gameon »

Hi there,

CEM tests. Panic is kicking in. Is it time to do the papers or carry on with 10-11+ books? We have just started 10-11+ books, but looks like we won't have time to finish these books?

Have you started papers? I have got some CGP papers and I am thinking of starting with those papers??? any advice which papers are good to start with?

Which exam are you sitting? The answer to your question depends on this. If you are sitting Latymer and doing Bond 10-11 you need to move onto something harder. CGP and First past the post papers would be suitable. DG

Dear Daogroupie

We are focusing on Bucks CEM exam. Also he will be taking QE but very tough to get in and too far for us. So not having high hope on that.

I have known plenty of boys get a place in previous years and know more who have a good chance this year. It takes preparation and motivation. If you are keen then ditch the Bond and get onto FPP, CGP and GL. DG

same advice - Start doing Test papers (bigger ones, 2 packs x set of 4 usually).

Providers - Bond, GL, CGP & FPP (recommended order)

Why, how hard is CGP? The assessment tests are pretty hard, but I thought GL was even harder.
