Space for working out answers on kent test?

Hi
Possibly a silly question, I understand the kent test is multiple choice but is there space anywhere to work answers out? My daughter seems to do lots of working out on paper to get her answers.

The children are given scrap paper to do working out. Alternatively they can write on the question paper. At least that has been the position for the last few years. Of course the tests are changing this year but I would be surprised if they weren't still given scrap paper.
