Anybody willing to knock up some paper CEM Mock exams???

Is anybody out there willing to knock up a few CEM style tests we could use for personal (not commercial!!!) use in the Summer?

We could converse via email and transfer papers that way...I know some of us have shared our own content already Of course we'd be careful of using copyright content and surely it can't be that difficult to knock something up.

The material would only be for our own use and should not be used by Tutors with their own students.......please!

I'm willing to do this but really need your support and would love to get those who experienced CEM last year on board

What a fantastic response! I'm very pleased to announce at least a dozen of us are prepared to give this shot. I'm more excited about the fact we've also got the support of one of Berkshire's best Tinkers With her knowledge and encouragement we are sure to give this a good go!

It's really good to know we have a couple of Maths specialists willing to assist and we have also been offered the support of a reputable local tutor.

Any of the experienced Bucks parents want to come aboard.........I may just have to come knocking on your door otherwise

my dd has done a couple of mocks

I teach too so could knock something up. are you going to coordinate this.

Welcome walsallmum, yes I'll run the show and the aim is to produce at least 2 or 3 papers which could use for mock exams in the privacy of our own homes.

There is no commercial element to this and I'm no tutor.

I am motivated though and can see the benefit in this.

We will create our own material and although we will take guidelines from shelf material we won't use their content. I already have quite a bit of my own stuff and have shared with other like-minded parents out there. The golden rule has to be you need to be able to contribute in order to benefit. It can be done and I'll be putting forward some ideas tomorrow to the group via pm.

I'm no expert though and would appreciate all the help I could get

Also happy to get involved in this. I have one DD already at GS - but done before Bucks changed to CEM - and one doing the test in Sept. Am already putting some stuff together myself (though she also goes to a tutor group) - so could definitely do a section or two I think.
