MC cloze type possibilty
Can cloze with missing letters (fill in the missing letters in the incomplete word) type be possible in MC type questions?
Eg : Sahara Desert in one of the hottest and d_i_st places on the _a_th. (driest , earth)
If so, how the options could be framed in the MC answer sheet? Any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: MC cloze type possibilty
Yes, these kind of questions are possible and have appeared in papers in the past.
The choices can be a combination of different letters or the correct letters in different order. In your example, the correct answer re er can be mixed with er re, er yr, re re etc.

ohh ok, thank you very much ptolemy......
was wandering how it could be possible, but now it seems a bit obvious
but these options could work as clue as well as a bit confusing - if the child does not get the word in first instance, will try to work around with the various options and might waste lot of time

Where could we get multiple choice cloze books from? Children need practice with the multiple choice sheets.
