Sutton mock results test B are out

Post by nadkha »

Hi

The test results are out for mocks tests B from Sutton.

My dd scored exact same mark as test A. Her percentages were higher. I think I am confused.

Can someone please explain how the standardised marks work?

There is a big thread on this in Eleven plus topics that started at 9am this morning, don't start a new thread, go and look at that one.

That's you told! How dare you put a thread in the Sutton forum about the Sutton mocks!

The Sutton mocks transcended Sutton long ago so threads about them need to be in a general area. With CEM questions appearing in the English paper are they even targeted towards the Sutton exams anymore? So far most of those requesting the spreadsheet are not sitting the Suttons. DG

Yes but all (I think) the previous threads on Sutton mocks are under Surrey!

Perhaps that could have been phrased a little more courteously?

if you have concerns about a post, the correct procedure would be to click on the report button and let moderators know.
That's what happened when someone discreetly reported the duplicate thread you yourself started, and the two topics were merged without any fuss.

Oh that's useful to know Etienne; thank you. I'm afraid I may have done the wrong thing then in asking on 11 plus general for the Sutton mocks thread started on there yesterday or the day before to be moved to Surrey as that's the most relevant place for people to search (Sutton Grammar being in Surrey!), and that's where the previous threads are on this topic. Is it better to report it then - I'd assumed that was just for really naughty things...

Your post was entirely constructive, Peridot. Absolutely no problem other than that moderators might not have seen it! :)

If the report button is used, we get an 'alert' that something needs looking at.
