qualifying scores for ke

Post by adhdad »

Hello,

Just had a letter through from qe, the qualifying scores are set as :

aston 204
c/h boys 215
c/h girls 209
five ways 200
handsworth for g is 209

priority is given to pupil premium children, 20 % in most case

no qs for bishops vessey or handsworth grammar, or sutton girls.

hope this helps,

the rest of th eletter explains the whole precedure for the test day including your room number etc

hope it helps

If these are the QS then we won't really know the true QS for those outside the cared-for & PP bracket, will we?
All we do know is (for those outside the bracket) that highest ranked scorers above the QS will get through, the QS for these will most likely be similar to previous years & the numbers outside the bracket will be similar to previous PAN numbers.

I would be careful not to assume that a Pupil Premium child, on, say, 200, will receive a place at KEFW automatically.

The letter is stating that 20% of places (25% at KE Aston) will be held for Pupil Premium children above this score.... it could end up being a higher score if the set % of places are filled by PP children higher up the scoring scale.
