Can I check a couple of things on the Prep Test please -
My son said the prep test is exactly the same as the real test - is that true?? I don't think so, but just wanted to seek opinion.
Also - there are discussions on this forum about instructions to leave answers blank if they do not know what to put - what would the rationale for that be? Surely if it is multiple choice there has to be a possibility of getting the answer correct?

No - the transfer test will be longer and different. Today was just to get them used to filling in the sheet, listening to the CD and some question types.
I've never seen anyone recommend leaving blanks - when the 'one minute' is announced fill in any not done then go back and work through them until the time stops.

The Prep test is preparation for the real test. It is to give the students a chance to get used to the format. The real test will have different questions. I would advise any student to answer all questions and to guess at any question they are not sure of. DG
