Missed 11+ by ONE MARK - 120 marks

Post by Gurji »

I was wondering whether the issue that the child is part of twins (the other
who has passed Bucks Test) is a valid line of argument

Obviously, logistically it would be terribly difficult, to get both kids to school, on time, each day as a single parent.

I don't know how to put forward my case, nerves taking over here!! :(

Also he has a sibling who is in a Grammar School doing A Levels currently

Any help would be duly appreciated,

thanks, gurji

Gurji,

No - you need to focus on academic evidence - twins might be valid if they were allocated to different Grammar schools - do read the appeals Q & A.

Have you got HT support?

Guest 55 is quite right. Q&As B24 deals with this issue.

Apparently there were 139 appeals last year where the child scored 120 on at least one paper. Of those, 99 were successful. With strong academic evidence the odds are on your side.
