Hi AML,

Its a given to use the 1)All the Past papers from the schools website.
2) English Practice Excercises by Andrew Hammonds
3) 11+ Super Selective Maths: 30 Advanced Questions - Book 1 and Book 2
4) Maths Papers from Manchester Grammar School (especially the long maths)

I need someone else to suggest Creative Writing materials

Regards

This will depend on what you have done already. If you have been focused on the mc format of QE then you need to ease yourself into the standard format that will be required for these schools. MT had a 15 mark character question last year. Would your ds know how to approach that? Habs also has high mark questions of 6 to 8 marks so you need to know what they are looking for. Maths and English, Manchester Grammar and North London Consortium, Habs and DAO will all focus you on the right areas. DG
