Richmond M2 Problem Solving Test
Hi everyone
The school my son attends in Wycombe does not administer the CAT tests, but my son did do the above test. Does anyone know more about this test, and what would be considered an above average score?
Thanks

Re: Richmond M2 Problem Solving Test
Richmonds are older tests, I think, and most schools prefer CATs nowadays.
Again, for 11+ purposes, it's not just a question of "above average" but of "well-above average".
126+ is considered a very high standardised score, and 119-125 is a good "above average". Ideally I think a panel would like to see something in the mid-120s.
It's unusual to see an isolated Richmond test. There's a battery of around 10 (?) of them, not all of which are particularly relevant, but it begs the question "Where is the Reading Comprehension score?"
edited .... In my view the two Richmond tests of most interest would be Maths M2 and Reading Comprehension.
