50th birthday pressie ideas, lo-ish budget

Post by Yamin151 »

For a woman, she's Next/Hobbs/Monsoon type, non frilly, silver trendy jewellery. We can go £30 individually or £90ish combined. Any original ideas? Would rather get a present to wrap than a voucher as special birthday.

Thank you! :D

Amazon Local always gives me ideas of meals, outings, event - specials. But then I more of a places/people person than "things."

Al of those are lovely of course, but since it's a 50th I do like the idea of her having something tangible to look at, I know it's more 'stuff' but some things are good to have a reminder of.

Hi Yamin,
I really love the pewter/silver jewellery and other bits and bobs such as pretty jam spoons and trinket boxes made by Glover and Smith. I have a couple of their necklaces that I love wearing and often get noticed. It's a small craft business based in Salisbury and they are lovely people; I met the main designer at a craft fair once. What I liked about them best was that the last time I ordered something over the phone he said "OK, lovely: I'll just go off and start making that for you now...". None of your imported-from-China stuff there then!

(not sure if I posted that correctly as a link but at least you can see the name of the website...)
