Wonder if you can help..
My daughter was taken ill during the NVR Paper, having completed the VR. She stepped out of the hall and managed to go in for the final two sections - thinks she missed about 10 mins of a 20 minute test. We went to the doctor immediately afterwards who has diagnosed gastroenteritis.
She is very able - top of her class - end of year 5 Sats: English 5a, Maths 5C Science 5C. Her tutor was very confident. We have appealed - they say we cannot resit as she would have an advantage because she has seen NVR paper. What do you think the school will do? - we are waiting to hear whather they will let her go through to the second round...nerves are frayed..
