SGS and Wilsons start and finish times
We're still deciding on the order of schools for the CAF and was wondering if anyone can help me with the start and finish times for SGS and Wilsons? I have this info for WCGS but can't seem to find it for the other two. There is a post from last year, but unfortunately the links don't work anymore.
Are cab shares common? We're not talking a long distance (c 6 miles), but a fragmented journey on public transport.
Many thanks

Re: SGS and Wilsons start and finish times
SGS registration is at 8:30am
Cab shares are not particularly common since, of all the Sutton grammars, SGS is the one best served by transport links. Many boys arrive by train.

Thanks LoopyLou. It would be Wilsons that 's the trickier one to travel to

Wilson's registration is at 8.25. DS travels by bus but some of his friends are dropped off, some use tram and bus or alternatively train to either Wallington / wad don stations then bus.

Thanks agathachristie, really helpful information. Do boys walk from Waddon station or is it better by bus?

Bus I think. Also be mindful that a number of clubs end around 5pm. Where will you be commuting from cat lady?
Re: SGS and Wilsons start and finish times
Commuting from Sutton - X26 bus would be easiest form of transport for DS.. hoping for SGS but Tiffins also strong contender for us. I know the X26 is very regular - just don't know its early morning consistency.

Re: SGS and Wilsons start and finish times
Traveling from Sutton if you are near the station I would recommend the bus s4 stops in front of Wilsons school.
x26 would not be my choice as its often full with Wally boys plus you have to change buses to get to Wilsons.
Alternatively he takes the train to Wallington and again either catch the S4 or 154..
