St Pauls Maths Paper

Post by gulat »

If S = 1

S+A+T = 8
S+A+P = 9
L+A+P = 11

What is S+A+L+T

Worked out A+P = 9 - S = 8
Sp L+A+P = 11, L+8 = 11, So L = 3
So S+A+L+T = 11

The next question has foxed me. Sure missing somethinh obvious

What is S+A+L+T+P?

Any help or guidance appreciated

I think there is an assumption that each letter has a different value. Then, everything falls into place.
