Moving into catchment

Post by PurpleDog »

We are very lucky that DD1 has got in to TGS from out of area but now thinking about DD2 who takes 11+ in September.

If we were to move into catchment for TGS or Weald, when would we need to move and what would happen if we moved after that time?

Can you go onto the waiting list for a school and which address would they use? Address at time of application or current address?

If anyone can point me in the right direction to find out this information, it would be appreciated.

Many thanks!

I maybe wrong and you would need to check the TGS admission policy, but if your DD2 passes the 11+ wouldnt she get a place as a sibling?

No she wouldn't unfortunately, there are no sibling rules at TGS although had she got into Weald, that would have helped.
