Appeals for Rochester Math School

Is anyone appealing to the Math School ?..DS has been turned down on Distance...I understand that 23 children have been turned down as first choice...any one appealing ?

I am not (we appealed last year successfully for non-qualification and over-subscription), but I know a few who are who live near to me.

thank you..DS passed and we are appealing on over subscription/distance...hopefully we stand a chance as it appears that the numbers are not as high as last year...do you recall how many gained entry on appeal ?

I think it was 12, so two extra per form.

Have you looked in the Appeals section? There's everything you need there.

yes looked and reviewed in detail. just found out DS missed the distance cutoff by 300 meters.. very frustrating.

Out of interest what distance did they accept on this year?

the furthest was 8.3 km- we are 8.6.

Both Group and personal appeal now done..waiting game again!
