that wouldn't be a nice journey every day - would Bracknell be in catchment for any of the Slough Grammars?

There are 2 ways to travel to the Slough schools from Bracknell. The first is the 702 Bracknell to London green line - stops directly outside Upton Court and St Bernards and short walk to Langley Grammar. The other other way is the Fargo school bus ( has a website). This serves Upton, St.Bernards and stops a short walk from Langley. The journeys for the 702 and Fargo take about an hour from Bracknell. I don't know any way to get to Hershal. We live in Bracknell and my son will start in St Bernards in September. He will be using Fargo but will probably pick it up from Ascot as reduces time on bus to 35min.

Bad news! First buses are pulling out of Bracknell so this means from 29 August the 702 will start from legoland unless something can be sorted. Not good for any Bracknell children who go to school in Ascot, Windsor or Slough and for the large number of people who use it as an affordable way to get to work in London.
