Maths question help!!
Amrit lives in Harrow-on-the- Hill. The table below shows the train journey times relative to Harrow-on-the-Hill station.
Station------------Weekdays---------Weekend
Harrow------------ (...........) ------- (...........)
Pinner --------------(+5min)---------(+14min)
Northwood----------(+9min)----------(+22min)
What is the percentage difference between the time taken for a train journey from Pinner to Northwood on a weekend and on a weekday.
Many thanks to all in advance !!

Re: Maths question help!!
At the weekend it takes 8 mins and 4 on week days. That's half, so the difference is 50% of the weekend time.
The other way of looking at it is 4 mins on weekdays and 8 mins at the weekend so that is a difference of 100% of the weekday time.
It appears to be a badly worded question. Stating what the percentage difference relates to qualifies what you are talking about and hence either of the above answers, fully qualified, is valid.
