Anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere away from light pollution these streams of light can be observed as you gaze into the heavens in the night. You never know you may be watching life in some distant planet at the same time.
In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.

We watched them last year in the Tuscan countryside. They were magic.

Can be viewed at any time through the night and as one person commented on the independent article should look to the north east in the sky.Hope people get some success. We didn't on one of our two nights last year but it was an adventure with the whole family and magical just looking at the night sky anyway.

Saw them lying on my back on the grass in the pitch dark in rural Jersey a few years ago. Wonderful.

We saw them a few years ago when on holiday. We dragged DD out of bed to see them.

Not as much chance of seeing them around here as there's a lot of light pollution.
