NVR CEM

My daughter will sit in Trafford region next year. I want to know how many types are there in NVR CEM which I need to cover. Thanks in advance.

Has Trafford switched to CEM?

yes, it is cem now & no one knows what'll come up on the day; there's no set format.

Not all of Trafford is CEM. Some of the schools still use GL style papers for example Stretford Grammar and Urmston Grammar. I wonder if we are unique as an LA, having 2 types of exams running dependent on the schools applied for? I think this makes it extra difficult for children who wish to apply for more than one school and therefore may need to prepare for the two different exam formats.

The school decides so there are plenty of other places that this applies. Essex for one and many boys in North London prepare for QE which is GL, Latymer which is 100% CEM and DAO which is CEM and standard English and Maths, GIrls also have to prepare for Latymer and DAO and HBS which is first round CEM and then standard English and Maths.
