Ooh err - so this time next week we could all have our envelopes!

Really am looking forward to knowing one way or the other. I'm not too good at living in limbo. I'm one of those women who simply have to find out the sex at the 20 week scan.

How are we all feeling?

I agree, this waiting game is torture!

My ds took Alti boys, Sale, Urmston and Stretford. He feels most confident that he did well in Stretford, he found Alti and Sale tricky.

He hasn't mentioned the results since he took the exams except for yesterday. I am trying to play it all down but inside I am nervous for him in case he hasn't got the results he wants. He's trying to decide whether he wants to open the envelopes, or me or both!! Wished they'd all arrive on the same day!

Good luck to everyone, hope your dc get the results they want.

Morning all,

Only 2 more sleeps before we can start haranguing the postie!

I am out a lot of Friday so I think there is a real possibility of exploding with anticipation.

I have to keep reminding myself that ds has an excellent plan b as the non selective we are in catchment for. I am just impossibly bad at not knowing!

Am sure I'm not the only one.

Brainfreeze, after seeing you had hopped over to the Brum section, I'd thought I'd drop in here and see if you lot are as bad as we are.

We're all having a nervous breakdown.

A supposedly good source had it in good authority that a number of post bags left the Bham Foundation Office at 4.34pm yesterday!

FO are saying first class tomorrow - they're sending us all do-lally :?

Good luck to all of you over here :D

Trafford's board is positivity quiet maybe we're all panicking in solitude! This week feels like the anticipation of the actual exam - trying to keep a lid on any emotions so not to freak out DC.
Long week, good all!

Trafford is pretty quiet.

Either the northen contingent is just very self possessed or emotionally repressed.

Welcome nervousmum - this is everyone. Everyone - this is nervousmum. She is having an affair with her postman (allegedly).

The Birmingham thread is a bit more saucy.

I'm in such a state of heightened anticipication for results that I forgot it was school photos today.

Maybe everyone is playing it cool - all swan-like on the surface but going crazy waiting! The posts are bing read by a large amount of folk and I know for sure that A LOT of children sat the exams!

Roll on these next few days and results coming in, I'm off to glide like a swan with legs flapping wildly!

Ha ha bookaddict!

Actually, on the subject of books - even they have let me down. I can't seem to get into a book to make the time pass more quickly.

Note to self for when I go through this again in 3 years: make sure I am in the middle of an unputdownable book around results week.

I did a crossword earlier. That used up half an hour.

Cleaned out the medicine cupboard which took up another 10 mins.

Unfortunately work is quiet this week, so even that has betrayed me.
