A score of 357, OK for Maidstone GS for girls ?
Hi, please can someone advise me, my daughter scored 357 in the 2015 Kent test.
119 VR
122 Maths
116 English.
Does anyone know if with this score a child can secure admission to MGGS? We are currently out of county but will be moving to Maidstone by the 1st of January 2016. Please all advice will be appreciated.

Hi Kemo
MGGS doesn't allocate places based on score, they use distance. So, as long as your DD has passed the Kent test her score is irrelevant but I believe they offer places to Kent children first.
Please check with the school or their website for up to date info.

As TeamD says there is no score criteria for MGGS. I'm not sure how allocation works re OOC. But I thought it might be helpful to know that in 2013 and 2014 MGGS was undersubscribed. I also know that on allocation day in March 2015 it was undersubscribed. I'm not sure how many were actually admitted in Sept 2015 but I do know there were quite a few successful appeals, but as I said on allocation day in March they did not offer their full PAN.
