Kegs Enquiry meeting

Post by SlighlyStressedMum »

Hi. If anyone is going to the enquiry meeting at Kegs this pm I would be very grateful if any important info could be posted on here. I have 10 & 7 yr at home on teacher training day plus a 3 yr old so I can't really fulfil the parents only rule!

Particularly interested if the head gives any idea of cut off scores i/c.

Thank you x

The headmaster suggested 332 for in catchment but obviously no guarantees. His basic message was if you want KEGS then put it down as a choice, in order of preference.

No worries.

He also said that for out of catchment, of the boys that took the exam at KEGS the 30th child with a non CM postcode had a score of 365!

Why is the CM postcode relevant? We don't have a CM postcode but we're still in catchment. I've just checked the admissions policy and it still states 12.5 miles

Yeah it is a 12.5 mile catchment as far as I know. I imagine the head just meant out of catchment score.
