You must have a lot of friends!

I know of at least 6 decent passes from just one establishment and have heard numerous scores elsewhere.

Soon, we'll have the exact breakdown from CEM anyway.

Hi Sona,
what are the chances of my son having score 111.24 getting a place this year. I was thinking it was v.slim .
I have still not filled the CAF form yet. We are in catchment.
thanks

berksmum, I'd say definitely put Reading Boys number 1 on the CAF because if you don't, your DS will never get the place. As far as the final cutoff is concerned, if last years last place (off the waiting list was 112.**) then your DS has every chance of getting a place with his score because there are extra seats available this year.

btw, I'm going to pm you about something else

Ds scored 112.58 and we are in catchment. What are his chances to get into RGS?

Last year 112.69 was the last place cut off from the waiting list, but there are more places this year.

So borderline I would guess, but room for hope.

I posted a thread earlier which explained I have had an email from uni of Durham, which gives a break down of the scores and the count of children achieving each score. Fairly helpful in working out if your child got in/may have.

Inbox me if you want email forwarded on. Although it may have already done the rounds :)
