DCGS catchment - moving after 1st April
DD at DCHS and hoping DS will pass (currently in y5) and get into DCGS. Our issue is we are renting a property at the moment just outside the catchment area. We are tied into a lease until Sept '16. We are going to move back and buy a property within the catchment area in hopefully July - Sept'16, assuming a suitable property becomes available.
I am aware DCGS has a catchment rule of being resident from 1st April - that's this April coming for us. So to be in catchment by that time, we would need to cut our losses on the rent in our current place (5-6 months rent eek) and rent or buy in catchment before April.
If we moved as planned next Summer and be in a new house before October, does this have any bearing at all on allocations?
All of this assuming he passes as well! Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: DCGS catchment - moving after 1st April
I think you have a problem - do read the admissions policy carefully.
From what I remember it specifically talks about not having two addresses after April of Y5 and that the further is used if you do have.

Thank you Guest, I will look into it and decide what to do over the next few months.
