How to attach a picture to a post?

I would like to post something and include a picture, how can i do that?

The rules of the form state:

11. Images and pictures are generally only permitted on Rehab and must not be likely to cause offence. Images carrying the copyright symbol are not permitted.

If you want to add one then you can post it using the [_img]*[_/img] codes (take out the _) and put the web address of the photo instead of the *

However we normally restrict pictures to the rehab, unless there's a good reason to post them elsewhere, such as a picture of an exam question (especially NVR types).

Yes, it is a picture of a page from a book. But i have it on my ipad so can't post url cos it is not online. How can i attach it from my pc or other device?

I think the only way to attach these is by uploading then to dropbox or similar

Ok. I have uploaded it to dropbox and now posted a new topic. I included the image there but it is not showing...? I used the code [img] [img] and pasted the link between the two parts of the code, but it doesn't seem to work.

Have sorted it out for you.

When posting from Dropbox, it is just a http: link, without the [img] code.

And I think I re-sorted it while S-A was also doing it! Other way is to right click on the picture and post that URL as an image. Far less elegant than S-A's version!
