Single second stage test for Nonsuch and Wallington Girls
The Local Governing Body propose the introduction of a single second stage test for girls wishing to apply to both/either Nonsuch or Wallington High School for Girls.
Seems like things are going back full circle.

Full text of Nonsuch High School consultation document is here under:

I wonder if this consultation could be challenged as it does not cover 8 weeks period between 1st December and 1st March. Has the Code changed?

Ok, I misread the title of the post and thought they were ditching the two stage process.
Girls will still have to sit the SET but will only sit one 2nd stage test for both schools? Is that an accurate summary? So they haven't gone quite as far as doing away with stage 2 altogether.

I don't think it is at all surprising that they are proposing to do one stage 2 test for both schools. One of the main benefits of forming the MAT, I think, is cost savings and a single stage 2 test will save time and money for the schools.
