traffic light sheet wrong for out of catchment this year?
hi
I was given a "traffic light" results sheet with suitable marks for getting into the schools. Now for out of catchment, some grammar schools have introduced a limit (e.g. KEGS is 24 places for ooc) . doesnt that mean the traffic sheet posted with the results this year is wrong? That last 4 years didnt have such a limit for out of catchment.
Any comments welcomed.

Doesn't it say somewhere that the scores on the guidance sheet take into consideration the changes which have occurred during the past 4 years? I thought it said something like that a couple of years ago. In any case, this isn't the first year that KEGS has had a maximum of 20% of places available for out of catchment boys (30 this year, I think - isn't their PAN 150 now?).sulee154151 wrote:hi

There is a sticky at the top of the Essex forum detailing cut-off scores for the current year's entry, but I'm not sure how much info there is about KEGS OOC applicants.

I'm pleased more of the schools are introducing catchment areas and hope the Colchester schools soon follow suit.

What do you have against Redbridge coach companies, that you are so keen to put them out of business? Some of them are even giving regular employment to female drivers, apparently, which is only to be applauded in a male-dominated industryProudmumregardless wrote:I'm pleased more of the schools are introducing catchment areas and hope the Colchester schools soon follow suit.
