Re: Letter Connections Question help Please!
Well, as soon as I saw the first four letters you mentioned ("AE is to IO") I thought 'vowels'.
The vowels, in alphabetical order, are: A E I O U
The consonants, in alphabetical order, are: B C D F G H J ...
So "AE is to IO" appears to be listing the first pair and then the second pair of vowels.
The phase "as BC is to" names the first pair of consonants, so perhaps the answer is supposed to be the second pair of consonants - i.e. "DF".
Obviously, there could be some other connection. This is the first that I spotted though.

I'd do the same as Goodheart

Thank you!!! I never thought of anything else apart from counting positions in the alphabet.

Irena,
You might find a CGP 11+ Verbal Reasoning Study Book and Parents' Guide a useful source of reference - it explains in detail various types of VR questions and how to do them.

They also have a very similar book for CEM style VR.
