Yes Kent test last year had these. Never found anything that did spatial very well. DD did lines of symmetry at school years before and we revised those. Some of the Letts ten minute test books had cubes but for the rest we just did internet searches and got a few examples so it wasn't totally alien and that was it.

GL do not publish any spatial reasoning material, but have you used others?

Hi,
The past rate changes every year, but it was 106 last year. Spatial is only a section within the Reasoning test, but some of the CGP books explain the types step by step. Of course there is no guarantee those types will be used by GL in the exam.
As far as I know, they haven't used cloze.

According to the Kent Familiarisation Booklet, cloze can be part of the test

Look at page 11 of the booklet for an example of the cloze
Look at page 7 of the booklet for an example of the spatial reasoning (which is not cubes and nets in the booklet).

Oh, that type of cloze. Thank you. What about the other cloze types? The more difficult ones with word banks for the whole text? Or those where you have to fill in three missing letters in a word? I think those can be more challenging.

I don't know for sure what is on the test, but my guess is, the cloze will only be of the type in the Familiarisation Booklet because it is GL rather than CEM and GL's old test papers for sale in the shops only have that type of cloze as well as spelling, punctuation and comprehension for the English.
