Hsfg test day arrangements
My daughter is getting a bit anxious about the big day after readibg the familiarisatiibn leaflet. She is wondering if candidates sit the test in a couple of larger rooms or lots of smaller classes?
Re: Hsfg test day arrangements
Lots of smaller classrooms.
Re: Hsfg test day arrangements
DD's letter last year stated the test would be in a 'normal' classroom in a group of about 20 students. Excellent organisation on the day - friendly staff checked them in at the gate and 6th formers welcomed them and escorted them to the classroom.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Thank you for the information, it will alleviate a minor anxiety about the day, every little helps!
Re: Hsfg test day arrangements
Make sure you allow plenty of time to park. It might be very busy.

They really go out of their way to help reduce the stress and unfamiliarity on the day. There's parking in nearby streets if you get there early enough, otherwise the centre of Glos is only a short walk away.

DS, in 2014, did test at 9.15 at Pates. Do all the schools start at the same time or is there variation? We had confirmation that DD will sit at HSFG but were told precise details won't be received until early sept. DD is very stressed and convinced she will fail and DS (at Tommies) will be mean forever. Am thinking DS could go either way in the event she doesn't make it. He is very capable of being supportive when he wants to but generally chooses to go the other way
