Holiday after exams

Post by redbrige »

Hi all,

I'm planning to take my DD on a holiday away from home like booking a caravan or any place they enjoy after their 11+ exam.
Treat for them irrespective of result as they have worked hard over the holidays.
We stay in Essex and could you please suggest some holiday spots where kids have enjoyed ,so that I can book in advance .

Have you talked to her about it? My dds wanted to get back to normal and get back to school.

You might want to do something special in the October half term.

I'd suggest a B&B at October though - a caravan coud be chilly!

What sort of thing does your DD enjoy?

If she's sitting the CSSE exam, you could zip down to Adventure Island straightaway afterwards?

A static should be ok end October if it has some heating.
Walton on the Naze is our favourite on the Essex coast but love Southwold too.
Thetford forest is good fun - & of course centre parks if you have the budget!
A weekend would probably be less expensive than October half-time.

Or you could do a day trip to London?

Some ideas:

Legoland, London Eye, Colchester [museum is very hands-on], Walton on the Naze, ...
