If you are talking about this year's test, though, you needed to have applied by sometime in July for extra time or whatever assistance your child normally gets in exams at school.

That's right. It all depends on the level of dyslexia. My friend's son was severely dyslexic and got an extra 25% of time to complete the test.
Bexley council is very strict with the deadline and the form has to be filled in at school by someone qualified. The deadline this year was 1st July. Is this for this or next year?
