CCHS Test Question - watches and timing

Post by littlemissm »

Hello,

I'm just reading the letter we got from CCHS with the test details. It says no "test timer watches" for the test, does anyone know if they are allowed a digital watch?

Also does anyone know how they manage the timing of each section of the test? E.g do they give the girls a warning when they have 1 minute left in each section or is it a matter of they tell them they have 12 minutes from now and there are no warnings, just times up?

Thank you !

The sections on the CEM test are short and full-on. A watch will be a distraction.

I would advise girls to get their head down and work quickly and accurately. Instructions and time checks are given via an audio CD at half way and one minute to go. The CD means all girls have, as near as possible, an identical test experience regardless of invigilator.
