Missed 11+ test

Good morning all, just a quick question pls. If your dc misses the 11+ test due to illness, how long would it be before they can sit the test? Is it up to the school or does the school need to get some kind of special permission? My dd missed hers and we are still waiting:(. Wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation. TIA

The advice to Heads is that the test should be rescheduled "as soon as is practical", and you should be notified in advance of the new test date.

Surprised to hear it has gone over a week. In other regions it is usually a week. QE boys was yesterday and the backup date is exactly a week later 29th September.

Perhaps make a gentle enquiry if it is only her that needs to go and sit in an office somewhere and do it. DG
